Accomplished business strategist Kathy Levinson leverages decades of senior-level experience in the fintech sector as an advisory board member of venture capital firm, Illuminate Ventures. In connection with Harvard Business School's celebration of “50 years of women at HBS” (HBS W50), Kathy Levinson was honored by the HBS Association of Northern California. The women have made an impact through their leadership roles in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, while also volunteering time to give back to the broader community. Kathy Levinson is a Senior Fellow of the Silicon Valley chapter of the American Leadership Forum (ALF), a national network of chapters, each dedicated to building stronger communities by joining and strengthening leaders to serve the public good.

Each of ALF’s 10 chapters offers year-long fellowship opportunities for promising individuals to develop their leadership skills and collaborate with other high-achieving ALF members across the country.
Each chapter selects 20-25 candidates for the program, who are inducted as fellows during the orientation and attend monthly seminars on a range of relevant topics, including conflict-resolution and facilitating complex community-focused dialogues. All fellows also participate in a wilderness excursion, where they spend seven days climbing a challenging mountain.
Graduates of the program are designated Senior Fellows and have access to a diverse network of highly trained leaders to facilitate and enact local, regional, and nationwide change.
